A Kansas City, Missouri, man has been sentenced in federal court after authorities determined he illegally possessed a modified firearm.
Christopher W. Abrams, 52, received a sentence of 4.5 years in federal prison without parole following his conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for possessing an unregistered firearm. The sentence was handed down by U.S. Chief District Judge Brian C. Wimes.
