Multiple emergency agencies in Kansas City work together to keep people safe during severe weather threats

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City’s Emergency Operations Center served as the coordination hub for multiple agencies during severe weather on Friday evening.

Inside the center, police, fire, infrastructure, health and the National Weather Service worked in the same room. The setup allows agencies to communicate directly without phone calls or delays.
