KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A driver who fled Independence police was arrested after a multi-agency chase ended near I-29 and N. Oak Trafficway.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the chase began on Sunday afternoon, April 19, when a vehicle sped away from the Independence Police Department.
State Troopers indicate that they took over as the primary pursuing agency near I-435 and Missouri 210 Highway in Clay County.
Law enforcement officials note that they pursued the suspect across city streets and interstates before stopping the driver and taking them into custody…
