A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after authorities allege he stabbed a boat captain during a three-hour snorkeling tour in Hawaii.
Avery Nissen, of Overland Park, Kan., was taken into custody on Thursday, April 16, following the “stabbing incident aboard a fishing vessel off the Kona coast,” according to a Hawaii Police Department news release.
