Kansas City man charged in deadly shooting over towed truck

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A man is charged with a deadly shooting after his car was towed.

The Jackson County prosecutor charged Josue Ceniceros-Angel with:

  • 2nd Degree Murder
  • Armed Criminal Action
  • Unlawful Use of a Weapon

Court documents show Kansas City police responded to a shooting on April 12. They found a victim, later identified as 51-year-old Gammage, Marcus, inside a black Ford F-250. He’d been shot in the torso. Police said Marcus later died from his injuries.

Detectives determined Ceniceros-Angel shot Marcus at a nearby home as Marcus tried to tow one of Ceniceros-Angel’s vehicle, according to the probable cause statement…
