Another Chick-fil-A location will open in fall in this Kansas City suburb

Another location of Chick-fil-A will open soon in a Kansas City suburb at the site of a former Applebee’s, according to a statement from the fast-food chain.

A spokesperson for the Atlanta-based chain confirmed the new location in Raytown, expected to open this fall at 9330 E. 350 Highway.

“It’s our pleasure to confirm we will be opening our first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Raytown at 9330 E. State Route 350 later this fall, pending any delays,” the statement said. “We look forward to joining the community and serving all of our guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality and care.”

Known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, Chick-fil-A has 19 restaurants — both standalone and university-licensed eateries — located in the Kansas City metro area. A few of those locations have opened in recent years, including a restaurant in Lee’s Summit in February…
