LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — A Lafayette County, Missouri deputy shot and killed an unarmed 19-year-old suspect early Friday morning.
Two witnesses say the man had his hands up and appeared to be trying to follow the deputy’s commands at the time of the shooting. But late Monday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol said an initial review of body cam video disputes those claims.
