Wyandotte County jail death: Family sees body camera video for first time

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) — Months after his death, the family of Charles Adair is seeing the body camera video from inside the Wyandotte County Jail for the first time.

On Wednesday, May 6, the family stood outside the Wyandotte County Courthouse after viewing the body camera footage from the day 50-year-old Charles Adair died inside the county jail in July 2025. He was booked on outstanding misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear on multiple traffic violations.
