CLAY COUNTY — A Clay County Grand Jury indicted Jaemisha Da Shay Collins of Kansas City, Mo., yesterday for allegedly assaulting a special victim.
According to the indictment, Collins knowingly caused physical injury to the victim by pushing them to the ground and striking them with her fist. According to the probable cause statement, the incident occurred on November, 23, 2025. Law enforcement was dispatched to a residence in Liberty for an assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Collins and learned she was an employee of Forward Living. Collins claimed that the victim, who was a client, had run out of the residence, and in an effort to restrain them, Collins tackled them to the ground.
