H-E-B pulls 45+ items from shelves as Texas-based supplier triggers voluntary recall

An H-E-B supplier is recalling products containing jalapeño peppers due to potential salmonella contamination. NatureBest products with peppers supplied by Coast Citrus Distributors are affected by the recall, which was issued Friday, August 14, on the H-E-B website.

NatureBest Precut & Produce LLC, which has facilities in Missouri City and Houston, distributed the products to retail customers in Texas and Louisiana from July 3, 2026, to August 5, 2026, according to H-E-B’s recall page.
