The Texas Medical Board suspended the license of a Sugar Land doctor who is facing a criminal charge that accuses him of illegally prescribing an opioid for personal use, according to public records.
Dr. Pranav B. Shukla, 47, is charged with fraud in delivering a prescription or prescription form, a second-degree felony, according to court records.
