POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An 18-year-old Davenport man faces a reckless driving charge after a Polk County sheriff’s deputy caught him spinning donuts in a 1991 Nissan Sentra at an intersection on Saturday evening, briefly shutting down traffic.
The incident happened around 7:39 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the intersection of US 27 and Student Drive in Davenport. A patrolling deputy watched as the older-model Nissan Sentra pulled directly into the crossroads and began squealing its tires while spinning around in tight circles.
