POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 42-year-old Bartow woman is facing multiple felony charges after deputies caught her attempting to flee a Fort Meade property on a stolen bicycle with two flat tires, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person on private property in Fort Meade just after midnight on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026. Authorities reported that a woman entered an unoccupied travel trailer on the lot before heading into the fenced yard to take a bicycle.
