Authorities have released the 911 call audio recording after a Florida woman died following an alligator attack while swimming in the Econlockhatchee River.
On Sunday, June 28, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of “an alligator bite incident” on the Econlockhatchee River near the Barr Street Trailhead in the Little Big Econ State Forest, the FWC said in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
The victim was later identified as Brittany Clark, a resident of Orlando who had been swimming in the river with friends and her boyfriend at the time of the tragic attack, which resulted in fatal injuries.
