Kirk Herbstreit just gave the first real Lee Corso health update of this season. The retired GameDay voice is 91 and still talking teams like Saturday is tomorrow. His body is the part that is making life hard.
Herbstreit sat with US Weekly after an Orlando appearance a couple of weeks ago. Corso lives nearby in Lake Mary and asked to meet. He even offered to drive through a thunderstorm rather than wait at home.
“By the time I landed, there he is. We hugged, embraced. He was emotional because we haven’t seen each other in a while,” Herbstreit said. “When he cried, it made me cry. Because he’s my guy.”…
