DAVENPORT, Florida — A 23-year-old man was arrested after allegedly following and attacking a woman who had just left her workplace, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026, a dancer from a club in Lake County noticed a Chevy pickup truck closely following her as she traveled south on US 27 into Polk County. The driver, identified as Jaden Richard, of Haines City, was recognized by the victim as a customer from her workplace.
The victim reported that Richard attempted to get her to pull over, demanding the return of money he had sent her via Cash App. Richard then allegedly struck the victim’s vehicle with his truck, causing damage.
