TAMPA, Florida — Five individuals from Florida have pleaded guilty to charges related to racketeering and drug distribution, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.
Mohamed Jaber, 33, Irving Bruzon, 28, Christian Andujar, 28, and Julissa Collazo, 29, all of Tampa, along with Kyle Miller, 34, of Orlando, have each admitted guilt to racketeering conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute over 1,000 kilograms of marijuana. Additionally, Andujar and Bruzon pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering and financial institution fraud. Jaber also admitted to financial institution fraud. Each defendant faces a maximum penalty of life in federal prison, though sentencing dates have not been set, stated the United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.
The individuals were members of a street gang known as Alexander Park, or AP, which engaged in selling and distributing marijuana, robbing other drug dealers, and committing acts of violence to maintain gang credibility and strengthen member positions, according to court records.
