Volunteer Ministry Center highlights affordable housing challenges as Minvilla Manor marks 15 years

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — As Knoxville continues grappling with rising housing costs and homelessness, leaders at the Volunteer Ministry Center say affordable housing remains one of the city’s biggest challenges.

The nonprofit, known as VMC, works to prevent and end homelessness through housing assistance, case management and permanent supportive housing programs.
