Maryville College introduces nursing degree pipeline with Vanderbilt School of Nursing

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A partnership between Maryville College and Vanderbilt University School of Nursing will soon allow a direct pathway from a four-year liberal arts education to a graduate nursing program.

This agreement is through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Maryville College and Vanderbilt where there has been an established formal collaboration that guarantees admission to Vanderbilt’s Master of Nursing program.

The requirements to be in the program are:

  • Maryville College graduates
  • Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher
  • Complete the programs prerequisite coursework
