KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The former Greenlee’s Bike Shop building on North Broadway has a new owner, bringing potential new uses to a property with more than a century of history in the Old North Knoxville district.
The property includes the original storefront where Greenlee’s Bike Shop operated, a 1902 mansion, a carriage house and additional commercial structures.
The bike shop, which opened in 1899 and is considered one of the oldest in the country, had previously operated on Gay Street and off Western Avenue before settling at its North Broadway location. It has been closed for years…
