KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — South-Doyle High School now has a new weight room, thanks to help from actor, stunt performer, and South Knoxville native Johnny Knoxville.
Earlier this year, 6 News reported that Knoxville had released a “Knoxville Strong” limited-edition merchandise collection with the help of Sorinex to help raise money for the new weight room after Athletic Director Randy Moore, his childhood friend, reached out and asked for help.
On Friday, Moore welcomed Knoxville and Sorinex leaders to the school with an assembly attended by South-Doyle staff, students and parents, as well as individuals who were influential in Knoxville’s life when he was a student. After the assembly, Knoxville took a tour through the new weight room…
