ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Department of Transportation said slide repairs are impacting a roadway in Anderson County.
According to TDOT, work to repair a slide on State Route 116, also known as Briceville Highway, is underway.
TDOT’s Mark Nagi said contractors have been excavating the slide area and filling with graded solid rock. Later this year, crews will begin construction on retaining walls before reconstructing the roadway…
