KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knoxville Police Department said it issued over 100 citations for speeding within school zones during the first week of the new school year.
According to KPD, officers conducted high-visibility traffic enforcement in active school zones for the first week to focus on slowing down drivers as students make their way to and from school.
