The Alcoa School Board approved a first reading of policy changes that would allow future director of schools candidates to be interviewed behind closed doors during its meeting at Alcoa High School Tuesday, Aug. 25. If passed in second vote next month, the policy changes will also allow applicants to request their information be kept private.
The board passed the first vote unanimously and without discussion.
