KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct a series of sobriety checkpoints around East Tennessee during the month of September.
Law enforcement agencies are required by state law to publicly announce details of plans to conduct sobriety checkpoints in advance. Information on THP checkpoints is typically shared on social media and on the Tennessee Highway Patrol website.
