MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — More than 140 high school students got a firsthand look Thursday at careers inside Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital, part of an effort to introduce young people to healthcare jobs they may not know exist.
The hospital hosted its first Discovery Day, bringing students from Blount, Loudon and Monroe counties into the hospital for hands-on demonstrations and conversations with healthcare professionals.
