KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The University of Tennessee shared an update on the demolition of the G10 parking garage on Monday and what the work will mean for drivers and university students and faculty members.

University officials said demolition equipment is slated to arrive on Monday, which will affect access to the garage and surrounding areas.

“Members of the campus community should anticipate increased construction activity, equipment movement, and contractor presence near G10,” the university said. “There will be signage and barricades to guide vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Please use caution when traveling through the area and adhere to all posted signage, barriers, and traffic-control measures.”…
