KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — An investigation is underway into a deadly shooting that took place late Wednesday night.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of McCalla Avenue around 11 p.m. on Feb. 14. On scene, officers found a man who had been shot at least once. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

KPD said that Homicide Unit detectives are “pursuing strong leads” into the deadly shooting. KPD believes that the shooting followed an argument between the victim and the suspect, who left the scene before officers arrived.
