KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Shonda Watson keeps three shelves of golf balls in her son’s room, each one a reminder of the young man Derek Green was.
“Derek loved the outdoors. He did not really get that from me that much. He loved to golf. He played golf for Hardin Valley and Carnes Middle School. That’s where it started. And then Hardin Valley High School,” Watson said.
Derek attended the Masters Tournament in Augusta in 2024. He was 24 years old when his life ended in a motorcycle crash on April 4 of last year…
