After fake bomb threat evacuates Knoxville Kroger, court records detail response

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Court records have outlined more about a bogus bomb threat that prompted a Knoxville Kroger to evacuate Tuesday.

The case centers on Mark Langley, who police say was causing a problem at the Kroger on North Broadway.

“The subject was reportedly walking through the Kroger parking lot shouting racial slurs and stating there was a bomb in the back of the store,” a report from the Knoxville Police Department said. “Furthermore, the subject reportedly threatened that everyone at the location was going to die.”…
