Knoxville man charged after assaulting teen driver with knife at traffic light: police

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Knoxville man is facing charges after he threatened a teen driver with a knife during a road rage incident, according to court documents obtained by WVLT News.

Samuel Shea Gibson is the suspect in the case. According to a police incident report, it happened at S. Peters Road and Ebeneezer Road in Knoxville on April 28.

In the report, the responding officer says he spoke with the victim and a witness, who both gave the same story. They said Gibson pulled in front of the teen at the traffic signal, got out of the car and threatened to slash the victim’s tires with a knife, which he was carrying…
