There is an extremely low chance that a random storm will develop late this afternoon. The majority, if not all, will stay dry. Moisture levels will begin to increase across the region. It may feel a bit muggier this afternoon.
Tomorrow will be even warmer as many reach the upper 80s to around 90°. The record high for the day is 92°, set in 1962. We might get close, but odds are, we will fall short. Humidity levels may increase as high pressure builds across the Southeast. It will feel muggier during the afternoon/evening. There is a marginally better chance for an isolated afternoon/evening storm, especially over the higher elevations. Once again, most will stay dry.
