West Knox County home a ‘total loss’ after fire Sunday morning

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A fire Sunday morning left a West Knox County home a “total loss,” according to Rural Metro Fire.

Around 8:40 a.m., crews received reports of a fire on Madison Ridge. They raced to the scene where they found heavy fire on all three floors of the home, with the occupants already outside. They tried to fight the fire from inside the house, but this was hampered after the roof and floors collapsed.
