KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The last three current and former Knox County Sheriff’s Office employees who were indicted on state charges after an investigation centered around theft involving members of the agency’s Narcotics Unit and Special Investigations Unit turned themselves in on Monday.
Former Knox County Sheriff Jimmy “J.J.” Jones, current Assistant Chief Deputy David Amburn and former Head of Narcotics David Henderson were out of town when the indictments for 11 current and former KCSO employees came down, WBIR learned.
