KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Knoxville’s public swimming pools are ready to open to keep locals cool during hot summer days and one will offer weekly adult-only hours for exercise.
The Knoxville Parks & Recreation Department operates four public pools, two indoor and two outdoor.

Outdoor pools will open for the summer on Saturday, May 23. They will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day except for Sunday when they are open from 1 to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 per person with splash passes and group rates available.
The Ed Cothren Pool will be open for adults-only lap swimming from 8 to 10 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Admission to Oak Ridge pool limited this summer due to paving project
