A 9-year-old girl reportedly died as a result of a residential fire in Clinton on Thursday, May 21.
The Clinton Police Department reported on Facebook that city firefighters found the girl at the home and brought her outside, where police administered life-saving measures until the Anderson County Emergency Medical Services arrived, took over her care and took her to Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, where she died a short time later.
