Broussard, Youngsville invest $35M in roads and infrastructure upgrades

LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — The cities of Broussard and Youngsville are investing a combined $35 million in roads, water infrastructure, and capital improvements, with leaders from both communities saying the spending reflects the area’s rapid growth.

The current fiscal year, which began on Wednesday, July 1, saw Broussard commit $23 million and Youngsville commit $12 million to individual and joint infrastructure projects.
