Jody’s Law aims to help Louisiana police find hit-and-run drivers faster

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — A new Louisiana law is now in effect, aimed at helping law enforcement identify and locate hit-and-run drivers faster.

Jody’s Law was created after Jody Mann was struck by a vehicle and left along a roadway. Mann spent 18 days fighting for her life before she died from her injuries.
