As Kari Kampakis took the stage last week at the Ascension Episcopal School’s Youngsville campus, hundreds of young women filled the auditorium along with their adults — mothers, grandmothers, caregivers and others eager to learn from the author and podcaster.
Kampakis gave a talk at Ascension’s Upper School about building confidence, being a good friend and growing into faith and adulthood. The talk was part of the “Parent Partnership Series” that Ascension started last year as a way to build stronger lines of communication between students, their parents and the school community.
