Rise in home ownership among 20-somethings in Lafayette among highest in the U.S.

The number of adults in their 20s who have bought homes in the Lafayette area had one of the highest spikes in the U.S., data shows.

The number of Generation Z-owned homes rose from 78 in 2018 to 3,428 in 2023, according to data released from RentCafe, a nationwide apartment search website.
