LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) — Jack Montoucet, former Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, will face a re-scheduled change of plea hearing, officials said.
Montoucet intially pleaded not guilty and was scheduled to have a jury trial on May 11. A federal judge scheduled the change of plea hearing for Tuesday, March 31.
In May 2025, a federal grand jury in Lafayette has returned an indictment charging Montoucet with one count of conspiracy to commit bribery and wire fraud, three counts of wire fraud, and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering…
