Lafayette Parish woman arrested after drugs, including 1,000+ fentanyl pills, and guns found at home

LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — A woman was arrested after narcotics agents executing a search warrant found large quantities of illegal drugs, including over 1,000 fentanyl pills, and three guns at a home, according to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Veronica Noble, 33, of Lafayette Parish, is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule I controlled dangerous substances, two counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of a firearm in the presence of controlled dangerous substances, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies.

Deputies reported narcotics agents executed the search warrant at a home on South Riceland Drive near Toby Mouton Road in the Duson area as part of an ongoing investigation…
