NEW IBERIA, LA. (KLFY) — The New Iberia City Court judge granted the eviction notice for Fields Funeral Home in New Iberia.
Earlier today, Judge Theodore M. Haik III, granted an eviction notice for the funeral home due to unpaid rent and sanitation violations.
The Fields Funeral Home was ordered to vacate by city inspectors on May 7 following health and sanitation concerns. City Inspector Matt Gulotta said inspectors found non-functioning air conditioning and ventilation, unsanitary conditions and dried human residue on equipment.
