The Lafayette Parish School System has named Courtney Alleman principal of Charles Burke Elementary School following the appointment of Brandon Bonner as principal of Judice Middle School.
Alleman earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2013 and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2021.
She began her career teaching first grade at S.J. Montgomery Elementary School and later taught in Lafayette and Vermilion parishes.
