Winter Haven Man Turns $1 Ticket Into $2 Million Payday

One $1 ticket has turned into a seven-figure windfall for Winter Haven resident Benjamin Hall, who has claimed a $2 million Jackpot Triple Play prize and taken it in cash. Hall opted for a one-time lump-sum payout of $1,212,677.60 after hitting the top prize on the Florida Lottery draw game.

The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Vaishali, 4646 N. Combee Road in Lakeland, as reported by Tampa Bay 28. Local coverage notes the sale at the Lakeland retailer and Hall’s subsequent claim filing with Lottery officials earlier this year.
