POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An early morning domestic dispute in Polk County ended in the arrest of a 20-year-old Guatemalan national on Saturday, June 20, 2026. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the first deputy to arrive at the scene discovered Gerber Alexander Bamaca Perez standing directly over the female victim with his hands clenched into fists while she screamed for help.
Bamaca Perez offered some resistance but was immediately taken into custody by the deputy.
