HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A tractor-trailer carrying wood stopped abruptly in traffic on Thursday, causing planks to pierce through the cab and front windshield, according to authorities.
A 31-year-old man from Lake Wales was traveling southbound on I-75 around 7:20 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The driver slowed abruptly due to other traffic near the 245 milepost.
