Group pressures Polk sheriff on social media policies | Exclusive

A national organization devoted to free speech is demanding that the Polk County Sheriff’s Office revise its social media policies.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression emailed a letter to the sheriff’s office’s dated Sept. 2 questioning the constitutionality of the agency’s social media policies and its moderation of official pages for that agency and for Polk County Animal Control.
