POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Parents and residents near Snively Elementary School in Winter Haven said traffic on Snively Avenue is creating safety concerns during school drop-off and dismissal.
Polk County resident Jenny Barton said she has a clear view of the traffic from her front porch, which is next to the school. She said she has seen crashes and close calls along the road.
