Polk County has found a compromise with residents of the Christina Woods neighborhood on the location of an emergency generator.
County employees installed the generator in January inside the cul-de-sac of Century Oak Court.
As The Ledger reported last year, county officials initially planned to place the emergency generator in the right-of-way on the property of the Labate family, near Century Oak Court and Hayter Drive.
